The first thing that we discussed in class is about our course plan. Our lecturer also give explanation about topic 1 ( Curriculum Development) and what is curriculum and pedagogy means.
Through the topic 1, there are five basic definition of curriculum:
Importance of Curriculum.
The curriculum is closely linked to the quality of learning experiences.
It is either the 1st or 2nd ranked determinant for positive or negative student comments regarding learning experiences
What is the curriculum?
The term curriculum refers to the lessons and academic content taught in a school or in a specific course or program. In dictionaries, the curriculum is often defined as the courses offered by a school, but it is rarely used in such a general sense in schools. Depending on how broadly or employ educators define the term, curriculum typically refers to the knowledge and skills students are expected to learn, which includes the learning standards or learning objectives they are expected to meet; the units and lessons that teachers teach; the assignments and projects given to students; the books, materials, videos, presentations, and readings used in a course; and the tests, assessments, and other methods used to evaluate student learning. An individual teacher's curriculum, for example, would be the specific learning standards, lessons, assignments, and materials used to organize and teach a particular course.
What is a pedagogy?
discipline the deals with the theory and practice of education
Formal teaching: For example teachers enter classrooms or other settings with theories or idea on how best to teach

My reflection towards this topic is I understand about the curriculum and pedagogy. The curriculum is important toward to a person and need to apply it in their early life. I learn more detail about what is a curriculum for learners and students than how important curriculum for students to have attitude think, pair and share and who owns the curriculum.
